Cine Las Americas 2025: Celebrate Latinx & Indigenous Stories in Austin

From May 14 through 18, the Cine Las Americas International Film Festival returns to Austin, bringing powerful stories and fresh perspectives to the big screen. Featuring films made by or about Latinx and Indigenous peoples of the Americas, this five-day event is a celebration of culture, identity, and creativity in all its forms.

Expect a diverse mix of feature films, shorts, documentaries, and animation—many of which are premiering exclusively in Austin. Screenings are held at venues across the city, making it easy to discover something new, whether you're a casual moviegoer or a serious cinephile.

More than a film festival, Cine Las Americas is a platform for underrepresented stories to be seen and heard—and a reminder of how meaningful storytelling can connect us all.

Festival Dates: May 14–18
