Living at The Anderson puts you close to one of the most exciting events in the city—Austin Pride 2025. This year’s celebration happens on Saturday, August 23, at Fiesta Gardens, and the theme is powerful: "Silence = Death"—a reminder of the importance of visibility, solidarity, and speaking up.

Just a short drive or rideshare from The Anderson, the Pride Festival begins at 11 AM and features live music, food vendors, community booths, and more. The parade kicks off at 8 PM at the Texas State Capitol and marches through downtown in a spectacular display of love, resistance, and celebration. General admission tickets are just $20, and the parade itself is free to attend.

Accessibility is a priority this year, with ASL interpreters, ADA parking, and wheelchair access available. Since parking can be tricky, biking or using public transit is encouraged.

Leading up to the main event, June is packed with community-centered Pride programming—from a picnic at Pease Park to themed DJ nights, drag shows, and the Majestic Ball at the Paramount. Whether you want to celebrate with your friends or meet fellow residents in the building, Pride offers countless ways to get involved.
